Analysis of Type a Uncertainties in Primary Accelerometer Calibrations Applying the Sine-approximation Method

چکیده
− This paper discusses the effect of residual components on type A uncertainties determined by multiple linear regression of quadrature homodyne output signals. Primary accelerometer calibrations employing the sineapproximation method allow the determination of the fit uncertainty through the covariance matrix. Frequency components that are not included in the regression model lead to increased uncertainties. The uncertainty obtained from the regression is therefore not exclusively due to random data variance at the calibration frequency, but due to deterministic error of the model. Analysis of the regression residues and a correction method is proposed to obtain more realistic uncertainty values. Some results obtained from simulated data sets are presented.

Applying Point Estimation and Monte Carlo Simulation Methods in Solving Probabilistic Optimal Power Flow Considering Renewable Energy Uncertainties
The increasing penetration of renewable energy results in changing the traditional power system planning and operation tools. As the generated power by the renewable energy resources are probabilistically changed, the certain power system analysis tolls cannot be applied in this case. Probabilistic optimal power flow is one of the most useful tools regarding the power system analysis in presen...
متن کاملReturn on Investment in Transmission Network Expansion Planning Considering Wind Generation Uncertainties Applying Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm
Although significant private investment is absorbed in different sectors of power systems, transmission sector is still suffering from appropriate private investment. This is because of the pricing policies of transmission services, tariffs, and especially for investment risks. Investment risks are due to the uncertain behaviour of power systems that discourage investors to invest in the transm...
متن کاملDesign and performance analysis of a seismic grade resonance nano accelerometer
In this paper, design and performance analysis of a resonance nanosensor for earthquake low frequency geoacoustic waves detection is proposed. The model comprises of a proof mass suspended to the substrate, and a nanobeam attached to the intersection of the proof mass to the substrate. The nanobeam could be cosidered as a clamped-clamped nanoresonator actuated electrostartically. The induced ac...
متن کاملSIMULATION OF ENDURANCE TIME EXCITATIONS USING INCREASING SINE FUNCTIONS
Endurance Time method is a time history dynamic analysis in which structures are subjected to increasing excitations. These excitations are known as endurance time excitation functions (ETEF). This study proposes a new method for generating ETEFs. In the proposed method, a new basis function for representing ETEFs is introduced. This type of ETEFs representation creates an intelligent space for...

In this paper, the blood glucose control for type 1 diabetic patients in the presence of model uncertainties and uncertain meals is considered. In order to present an efficient control approach, it is assumed that the dynamics describe the mechanism of the blood glucose regulation in type 1 diabetic patients are completely unknown. Hence, based on the universal approximation property of the rad...
